In 1985, INNOTHERA’s annual sales amounted to approximately 200 MF (30 M€),, exclusively of medicines, of which 75% was in France and 25% at export; the company ranked 17th among independent French pharmaceutical companies.

In 2007, INNOTHERA’s sales totaled 116 M€, of which 57% was international sales, divided into two activities:
• medicines: 2/3 of the total business activity, of which 80% was exports,
• medical textiles (venous compression bandages and stockings): 1/3 of total business, of which 90% was in France.

In 2008, INNOTHERA’s sales totaled 127 M€ if which 62% was exportation.

Today ranking 6th among independent French pharmaceutical groups, INNOTHERA is the only laboratory that has maintained a presence both in medicines and medical textiles, for more than ten years.

This evolution bears witness to the company’s reactivity and the winning spirit that inspires it. The changes that have been brought about in the last twenty years clearly illustrate that determination:

In 1989
the INNOTHERA group made its first strategic adjustment by re-centering on women’s health and venous diseases. That year saw the beginning of research into new molecules.

In 1993
the compression activity was launched with the acquisition of the plant in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

In 1999
the group defined its ambition to become the leader in the treatment of venous diseases. The Nomexy plant (France), built from the ground up, went into service (producing compression products).

In 2001
the group confirmed its commitment in the area of venous diseases with a series of innovations, which are transforming compression by radically improving its acceptability.
